Space  was pleased to welcome Giovanna Castiglioni for this very personal series of more space design talks held in August 2010, covering the work of her father, Achille Castiglioni.

Today Giovanna runs Studio Museum Achille Castiglioni. Brimming with drawings, models and prototypes, the studio has attracted more than 28,000 visitors since its opening in 2006, and became a Foundation in 2011.

Giovanna’s talks featured content from the archives as well as pieces which are still in production today, such as Zanotta’s Mezzadro stool and Sella seat. The talks revealed Castiglioni’s heightened sense of curiosity, which made him one of the world's most creative thinkers who helped to shape the design industry we know today.
