Marketing Manager, Space Furniture Asia - Singapore

Purveyors of luxury lifestyle concepts, Space Furniture is a contemporary design retail store first established in Sydney, Australia more than two decades ago. Its Singapore operation is now looking for talented individuals to join the marketing team. 

Ideal candidates for the role should have at least 5 years of marketing experience, preferably in design and/or luxury retail business. He/ She must be familiar with and have prior experience in all aspects of marketing as the role requires an extremely hands-on manager. To succeed in this role, he/ she needs to be a creative individual who is grounded by commercial sensibilities with multi-tasking capabilities, a can-do spirit, and an adaptive nature. Knowledge of the Malaysian market will be a plus point.

Representing one of the most progressive design retailing brands in the region, the candidate has to be passionate and inquisitive about design and lifestyle trends in order to conceptualise ideas and campaigns that constantly push the envelope. Successful applicants will relish in working in an inspiring environment of designer furniture, and may enjoy opportunities to travel overseas for training and to attend trade fairs where you will meet with international designers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ad planning and overseeing all other aspects of advertising from material preparation, to timely submission
  • Organising
  • Budgeting and tracking of marketing expenses
  • Content  creation from in-store silent sellers, sales collateral, artwork to eDM
  • Media relations. Maintaining a close working relationship with key editors and writers by positioning as their resource centre for design stories and high resolution imageries
  • Executing sale and promotion by working closely with the sales teams and relevant agencies
  • Overseeing digital and social media marketing
  • Special projects for example coordinating client’s trip with brand suppliers, annual production and on-going distribution of in-house publication, etc.
  • Liasing with other lifestyle partners on potential collaborations
  • Supporting showroom activities for example showroom tours

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years in marketing, preferably in design and/or luxury retail business
  • High degree of interest in design and luxury lifestyle
  • Experience in all aspects of marketing; hands-on managerial style
  • Creative with commercial sensibilities
  • Multi-tasker, a can-do and highly adaptive worker
  • Attention to detail so as to uphold highest standards of the brand
  • Strong command of English
  • Degree holder or its equivalent
  • Proficient in MS Office, basic Adobe Photoshop and HTML
