Glen Oliver Low was born in Leverkusen Germany in 1959. He graduated with a diploma in industrial design from the University of Wuppertal in 1985 and moved to Milan where he received a masters degree in Design from the Domus Academy in 1986.

In 1987 he started collaborating with Antonio Citerio and in 1990 became partner. It was in Antonio Citterio's office that he developed a large number of products for companies including Flos, Hackman, Iittala, Kartell, Vitra and Vitrashop. He has been awarded the Compasso d'Oro for the Kartell Mobil Containers, while the Battista folding table and the Mobil containers are part of the permanent exhibition of MOMA in New York.
