Well known for work that lends itself to the postmodern movement, while remaining grounded in his Catalan identity, in 1964 Spanish architect Oscar Tusquets set up Studio PER with fellow architects Pep Bonet, Cristian Cirici and Lluis Clotet.

Some of his most recognisable work is for Italian manufacturer Alessi, and he has received many prizes and acknowledgements for both his architecture and products. Among his notable architecture works are the Casa Fulla in Barcelona, L'Illa del Palau, an adaptation of the Palace of the Catalan Music in Barcelona and of the Church of Saint Francis.

As an industrial designer, Oscar creates furniture, lighting, and household objects for Driade, Ritzenhoff and Alessi. His work for Alessi includes the limited edition Tea and Coffee Service made in silver and part of Alessi's Tea & Coffee Piazza project.
