Born in 1980 in Fribourg, Nicole Aebischer got her diploma in Industrial Design at the Ecole Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne (Ecal) in 2004.

During her studies at Ecal, working with Atelier Oï, she created the “Pyllon” stool which was shown at the designer’s saturday in Langenthal in 2004, at the salone internazionale di mobile in Milano in 2003 and at the Musée de design et d’arts appliqués contemporains in Lausanne. The stool makes part of the “Swiss design now” - exhibition which was shown in Shanghai, Beijing and soon in China and Valencia. Based on that furniture piece, the colaboration with B&B Italia continues for other projects.
