Glas Italia
Founded by the Arosio family in Brianza, Italy, Glas Italia is based on glass craftsmanship and long-standing collaboration with designers Ettore Sottsass and Piero Lissoni. Described by Sottsass as one of the most open-minded industrialists he had ever worked with, Glas Italia specialises in producing large glass and crystal plates; all while inventing a system for producing coloured mirror plates.
Working with Sottsass, the group produced some of the most dynamic pieces using this new technology. Today the collection continues to be guided by colour and clarity. Our selection highlights Glas Italia craftsmanship and demonstrates the level of quality that makes the brand a natural fit at Space Furniture.

Where Glass Shapes the Story
Glas Italia pieces change the tone of a room through proportion, clarity and the way surfaces catch the light. The collection places glass at the centre of the aesthetic, which gives a coffee or side table a stronger role in defining the room’s character. Mirrors introduce a different kind of presence by expanding the room visually. At the same time, they turn your reflections into part of the composition.
Italian craftsmanship gives these pieces a rarity that is made to be enjoyed and appreciated. At Space Furniture, our Glas Italia selection features bespoke pieces that have become favourites for customers who want glass to lead the conversation in their homes.
Function Crafted in Crystal Clear Glass
Glas Italia endures daily use with the kind of precision glass rarely achieves at this scale. Corners stay crisp. Surfaces stay true. Tables and mirrors double as functional pieces while keeping the room visually light. The designs keep their uniqueness without overwhelming the space, which allows a single piece to serve as both feature and function.
Space Furniture brings Glas Italia to customers who appreciate function delivered through clarity and exactness. Across the range, the brand is a leading example of how glass can take on real use while still serving as a considered centrepiece.
