'La Saracena, Slow Living’

Gebrüder Thonet Vienna GmbH presents its new catalogue as a publishing project accompanied by a short film entitled 'La Saracena, Slow Living’ shot inside the softly textured Mediterranean villa designed by Luigi Moretti in the late 1950s.

On the coast of Lazio just outside Rome. La Saracena was known as the pearl of the Tyrrhenian coast where Ingrid Bergman and Roberto Rossellini welcomed Gregory Peck on a break from filming Roman Holiday, and Rock Hudson, Marlon Brando, and Federico Fellini were regular guests.

Connecting seamlessly with this mesmerisingly classic setting, GTV’s 2021 collection features the Beaulieu chair designed by Philippe Nigro and the Säule dining table by Fabio Fantolino, as well as new product categories including cushions, rugs and a modular screen called Feng.
