What will I do on a day-to-day basis?

  • Delivery of client goods in a timely and friendly manner, maintaining efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Skillfully unload and assemble furniture (which at times includes heavy lifting)
  • Must follow company operation procedures and supplier assembly instructions
  • Assist with the packing of outgoing goods to ensure they are appropriately packed for safe dispatch.
  • Inspect furniture for proper functionality according to the suppliers guidelines.
  • Drive company vehicles in a safe and sensible manner
  • Assisting with warehouse duties, including unloading of shipping containers when required

What do I need to be successful in this role?

  • Valid Australian Driver’s License (required)
  • At least 2 years experience in delivery and furniture installation/assembly (required)
  • Medium Rigid Truck Driving License (required)
  • Sound driving record (required)
  • Have sound knowledge of the Melbourne Metro and surrounding suburbs, including best routes and times to travel to particular areas.
  • VIC White card
  • Experience working on building sites
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize jobs and work in a team and independently
  • Be well presented, organized, with a great work ethic and a warm and friendly personality

This busy and fast paced role is a full time permanent opportunity, with regular days of work being Monday to Friday. Flexibility to be available on Saturday and Sunday will be highly regarded.
