After last year’s great success, Jack returns with a range expanded by new structures, finishes and modules. In addition to the clean vertical floor to ceiling upright, Anastassiades has designed a new rod to be fixed to the wall, making Jack suitable for all those spaces that cannot provide the vertical anchorage for a bookcase.

B&B Italia

Michael Anastassiades
Michael Anastassiades was born in Cyprus in 1967, trained as a civil engineer at Imperial College and took a master’s in industrial design at the Royal College of Art. He founded his London studio in 1994 and his own brand in 2007, and his lights for Flos include String Lights. He became a Royal Designer for Industry in 2015, won the Compasso d’Oro in 2020 and was appointed OBE in 2024.
For B&B Italia he designed the Jack storage system in 2018, the Parallel Structure table in 2019 and, in 2026, the Metric chair and armchair in slender solid oak.
