Jamie Gray

Jamie Gray is a designer, curator and the founder of the New York design gallery Matter. Born in Los Angeles and based in New York since 1998, he graduated from Pratt Institute in 2001 with a degree in sculpture. His work draws on both the warm modernism of the West Coast and the elegance of the East, with form and function as equal parts of a larger narrative.

For Roll & Hill he designed the Orbit coffee table and stool, distilled from his interest in 20th century French modernism, with an elliptical leg motif carried through the collection.
