Jamie Wolfond

Jamie Wolfond designs furniture, lighting and everyday objects, and every project starts with an observation of materials and the natural world. Blending curiosity with hands-on experimentation, he works with skilled tradespeople and sustainable practices, exploring the tension and flow between material and function.

For Moooi he designed the Drape Light, a 3D-knitted polyester shade that drapes by gravity over two minimal glass LED tubes to create a warm, deliberate atmosphere.
