Nikodem Szpunar

Nikodem Szpunar is a Warsaw designer who graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and studied at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin. He designs furniture and interior pieces for industry and small series, and is also a painter. He was named Designer of the Year 2019 by Arena Design and Designer of the Year 2021 by the Polish Institute of Industrial Design.

For Moooi Carpets he designed the Big Scale rugs One, Two and Three, from the Shape Rugs collection, which merge painting and design into canvases where strokes evolve and scale amplifies.
