Paul Cocksedge

Paul Cocksedge is a British designer who studied under Ron Arad at the Royal College of Art and was nominated for Designer of the Year by London’s Design Museum in 2004, the year he founded Paul Cocksedge Studio with Joana Pinho. His products, installations and sculptures explore the limits of technology and materials with simplicity, joy and wonder, and his work is held by the V&A, MoMA and the Vitra Design Museum.

For Moooi he designed the Gravity Chandelier, with five or seven lights, which reimagines the chandeliers of the past by turning rigidity into elasticity.
