Acerbis
Napoleone Coffee Table
Salocchi launched the family of tables, coffee tables and display stands Napoleone during the 15th Milan Triennale in 1973. Napoleone features simple, geometric outlines and materials that were far from common in the furniture present in the traditional houses of the time. Acerbis offers two coffee tables, revisited and enhanced by the distinctive polyester lacquering in the colour palette which features the vivid colours of vintage sports cars.

Today this mission continues with fresh vigor. With recently appointed creative directors Francesco Meda and David Lopez Quincoces helming a dynamic path forward, Acerbis affirms its family-led lineage of pace-setting vision, and its universe of designs that unite function and the avant-garde.
Claudio Salocchi
Born in Milan in 1934, Claudio Salocchi was an architect and designer at the heart of the creative ferment of the 1960s and 1970s, with projects that anticipated new forms, technologies and typologies. For more than fifty years he worked across industrial design, architecture and interiors, and he was vice president of ADI, the Association for Industrial Design.
In 1979 he won the Compasso d’Oro for Metrosistema, a kitchen system. For Acerbis he designed the Palla armchair, the Free System sofa and the Napoleone coffee tables.
