The seat that flows uninterruptedly into the armrests is the hallmark of this small armchair and relaxation chair. The former, with aluminium swivel base and four spokes, combines elegance and comfort; the latter, which is also swivel and has a matching ottoman, is larger with a headrest.

B&B Italia

Jeffrey Bernett
Jeffrey Bernett was born in Champaign, Illinois, studied business at Northwestern University and the University of Minnesota and furniture design at Parnham College in England. In 1995 he founded the multidisciplinary consultancy Studio B in New York, presented his first collection at ICFF in 1996 and was named Best New Designer there in 2000. Often the first American chosen by European manufacturers, he has worked with Knoll, Cappellini, Boffi and Magis.
For B&B Italia he designed the Tulip armchair in 2000, the Landscape chaise longue in 2001 and the Metropolitan armchair in 2002, a family now including Metropolitan Relax.
