Baxter
Clotilde Chair
An ideal complement for any table – not just in the dining room – Roberto Lazzeroni’s Clotilde chair stands out for its light and minimalist look, which reworks the vintage design of 1960s chairs with a bolder, more distinctive image. Clotilde has an ebonised ash or walnut frame, available in two different finishes, which supports the upholstered seat and backrest cushion. Through a clever design, the backrest has been extended so that it embraces the guest and allows functional support for the arms, without the need for armrests. The chair therefore becomes a new classic, a perfect icon on its own or combined with Baxter tables.

Baxter
Launched in Italy on January 1990, Baxter is the combination of experience and passion, a sense for business, a desire not to follow the rules, and the spirit and feeling evoked by the Made in Italy philosophy. Describing Baxter as “the story of encounters, ideas, but above all of people”, founders Luigi Bestetti and his nephew Paolo Bestetti began their journey towards the contemporary by pursuing "the freest expressiveness”.
Roberto Lazzeroni
Roberto Lazzeroni was born in Pisa in 1950, the town where he still lives and works. He studied art and architecture in Florence, graduating in Fine Art in 1974, and developed a keen interest in conceptual art and Radical Design. He calls his own approach “sentimental design” and began his career in 1980 with residential projects.
His long collaboration with Ceccotti Collezioni began in 1988, followed by work for Poltrona Frau, Flexform, Giorgetti, Driade and Zanotta. For Baxter he has designed the Isamu table, the Himba and Colette seating, the Stig chairs and the Karl sofa.
