Gallotti&Radice
Founded in 1956 by Pierangelo Gallotti and Luigi Radice near Lake Como in northern Italy, Gallotti&Radice began as an artistic studio dedicated to glass, creating handcrafted mirrors and furniture pieces that blended traditional craftsmanship with innovation.
Over seven decades, the company has evolved into one of Italy’s leading luxury furniture brands, with glass remaining at the heart of its design philosophy. Combining artisanal expertise, contemporary technology and ongoing design research, Gallotti&Radice creates sophisticated furniture and interiors that embody timeless Italian elegance.
Today, led by the second generation of the founding families, the brand continues to craft refined living solutions that unite traditional Italian know-how with a modern, international perspective.
Monica Armani
Monica Armani is an architect and designer from Trento who divides her time between Trento and Milan. She began her career working with her father, the rationalist architect Marcello Armani, and in 1996, with Luca Dallabetta, created the progetto 1 line, launched by B&B Italia in 2005.
She has since designed for Boffi, Luceplan, Cassina, Molteni&C, Moroso, Poliform and Viccarbe, and her studio turned Milan’s former Cinema Excelsior into a seven-level department store. She identifies with Mies van der Rohe’s maxim “less is more”, and for Gallotti&Radice she designed the WGS Stool.
