Established in 1975 as an extension of the B&B Italia Company, Maxalto looks to the past reviving classical forms and salvaging a rich elegance. Right from its inception, the distinguishing mark of the Maxalto collection has been the sheer linearity of shapes which has enabled the classic elegance to be revisited with a modern outlook. Chairs and armchairs made of wood or “dressed up”, thick tables made entirely of wood, or matched with the strong personality of steel, exceptionally comfortable sofas and chairs, consoles, writing desk and bookcase are important pieces lending a touch of prestige to the home.
