Angela Ardisson

Angela Ardisson was born in Tuscany in 1966 and began her creative career, self-taught, as a graphic designer and art director. In 2000 she opened Artplayfactory Design Studio to experiment with materials, combining craft skills with several metals oxidised and cast together.

Her work includes a light installation for Peck Italian Bar in Milan, store lighting for Alberto Guardiani and window installations for Miu Miu and Prada in Milan. For Baxter she designed the Lais pendant lamp, whose hand-applied oxidations leave unique colour marks that evoke timeless landscapes.
