Serralunga Lluna Pot

The LLUNA illuminated pots and garden planters designed by Joan Gaspar for Serralunga combine, in a single suggestive element, at once a pot and a lamp, in an elegant style. LLUNA is perfect to separate outdoor areas, allowing for visual intercommunication between them. For terraces, outdoor areas, public spaces or alongside a pool. Marco Serralunga explains the project: "Our project of garden planters continues. My company was the first to create this innovative concept of use for a normal planter with this added value. In designing LLUNA, the basic idea was to create a vase-type lamp taking into consideration both the notion of space and ambiance. I firmly believe in the practicality of plastic, and together with the functional aspect of the lighting, it makes this a unique product. In the late hours of the evening one can relax and enjoy an atmosphere of intimacy created by this complementary piece of outdoor furniture." LLUNA can be coordinated with other items of outdoor patio furniture, creating a total look: pouf/stool, box tables, bottle carrier. With a wide choice of colours, LLUNA adapts to any environment.

Materials

LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene) achieved by rotational moulding. UV protection. 100% recyclable, solution dyed. High degree of mechanical strenght and resistance to impacts.

Hand finishing for lacquered products: surface preparation, application of base coat, lacquering with oven-fixed liquid acrylic or polyurethane paint, polishing.
