Daniel Fintzi

Daniel Fintzi studied philosophy at Tel Aviv University, in his home town, before moving to Milan to earn a diploma in industrial design at the Istituto Europeo di Design. After spells in Paris and London he returned to Milan as a freelance designer, and in 2008 he founded his Design Intervention studio in Shanghai.

The studio has since expanded to Hong Kong and exhibited at the Salone del Mobile and Promosedia. He also runs FORMAR, a brand of furniture made from remnant marble blocks. For Billiani he designed Askew in 2009, a minimalist chair, armchair and sofa.
