Dario Bartolini

Dario Bartolini, born in 1943, studied architecture in Florence, where he enrolled in 1963 alongside Lucia Morozzi, later his wife. In 1968 both joined Archizoom Associati, the Radical group behind the Superonda sofa, and Dario photographed many of its pieces. He also created jewellery, games, machines and sound installations that responded to light, specialised with Lucia in clothing design and from the 1990s followed a personal artistic path.

For the fiftieth anniversary of Superonda, Poltronova asked him to design two limited editions: Superonda Babele Decoded and Superonda Dressing, the latter for Lucia.
