Foster + Partners

Foster + Partners was founded in London in 1967 by Norman Foster, born in Manchester in 1935, who received the Royal Gold Medal in 1983, a knighthood in 1990 and the Pritzker Prize in 1999. Known for landmarks such as the Reichstag in Berlin, the practice has an industrial design studio that creates products from tables to turbines, driven by sustainability and by prototyping and making.

For B&B Italia the studio designed the Cordoba armchair in 2022, an oak frame with a seat and back in thick leather that combines design, precision and environmental responsibility.
