Francesca Simen

Francesca Simen was born in Milan in 1963 and graduated in architecture from the Politecnico di Milano in 1989. From 1990 to 2003 she worked with Antonio Citterio, and in 2003 she and Stefano Gallizioli founded ANG42, a multidisciplinary studio for interior architecture, design and installations that opened a branch in Dublin in 2006. Private residences are its main work, among them two villas on Mustique.

For B&B Italia she designed the Istos rug in 2014, made in 100% botanical silk in six colours.
