Jean-Marie Massaud

Jean-Marie Massaud was born in Toulouse in 1966 and graduated from ENSCI-Les Ateliers in Paris in 1990. After working in Asia and France he opened his Paris office in 1994, and in 2000 he founded Studio Massaud with Daniel Pouzet, designing for Cassina, Poltrona Frau, Poliform and Cappellini and architecture for Lancôme and Renault. The pair designed the volcano-shaped stadium in Guadalajara, Mexico, opened in 2010.

For B&B Italia he designed the Seven table in 2008, with three uneven sides to seat seven, and the Terminal 1 chaise longue, which doubles as an armchair.
