Kensaku Oshiro

Kensaku Oshiro was born on Okinawa in 1977 and graduated from the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan in 1999. He worked at Lissoni Associati from 2004 to 2012 and for Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby in London until 2015, when he founded his own studio in Milan. He won the Design Report Award at the SaloneSatellite in 2006 and was named Designer of the Year at the EDIDA awards in 2022.

For B&B Italia he designed the Lemante coffee table in 2023: two parallel squares rotated by 45 degrees on a slender metal rod frame, in four interlocking sizes.
