Paolo Nava

Paolo Nava was born in Seregno in 1943, graduated in architecture from the Politecnico di Milano and qualified from the Higher Course in Industrial Design in Florence in 1966, completing his training with design studios in England. In 1972 he founded a studio with Antonio Citterio, and from 1982 he worked independently for Arflex, Flexform, Poliform and De Sede, testing every design through models and materials.

With Citterio he designed the Diesis sofa and coffee table for B&B Italia in 1979, the sofa’s metal structure defining seat, back and arms, and in 2025 the Diesis armchair joined the collection.
