Pierangelo Gallotti
Pierangelo Gallotti was born in Milan and met Luigi Radice at the School of Industrial Art in the city’s Sforza Castle. Together they began as glass engravers, and in 1956 they founded Gallotti&Radice as a glass decoration atelier in the Como area, making lighting, mirrors and furnishing pieces before moving into glass furniture.
Many of the company’s classics are his own designs, among them the Eros table, Riki trolley and Sir T 32 coffee table of 1971, the George and T35 coffee tables, the T33 coffee table, the hand-bevelled Niagara mirror and the Lord and Carlomagno tables.
