Stefano Bigi

Stefano Bigi was born in 1974 and grew up between France and Italy. Entirely self-taught, he began in web design and at 31 turned fully to furniture and decorative objects, and since 2005 he has run his own studio in Milan. His work for brands including Porada, Pellizzoni, Roche Bobois and Matteograssi is driven by the belief that a chair should be much more than a seat on four legs.

For Gallotti&Radice he designed the Jackie chair in 2014, an upholstered chair built on an inner wooden structure.
