Studio Kairos
Studio Kairos, founded in 1980, is led by the architects Giuseppe Manente, born in Mestre in 1947, and Abramo Mion, born in Mirano in 1951. In classical Greek kairos means the right point, place and measure, the balance of place and time sought in every project. Working in industrial design, architecture and furniture, the studio has designed for Poliform, Molteni&C, Herman Miller and Boffi.
Its long collaboration with B&B Italia won the Compasso d’Oro in 1984 for the Sisamo wardrobe and continues with the Dado chests and bedside tables, the Pab storage system and the Sir Vito side table.
